Four travel vaccines are provided by the NHS. These are DPT, Typhoid, Cholera and Hepatitis A. Please see Fit for Travel for details of your provider. Other Vaccines will incur a charge. To find out more about the vaccinations you may require for your travel destination you can visit the Fit for Travel website.
Emcare is the NHS GGC Travel Vaccination provider for North West Glasgow. We have developed an online postcode checker which will let you know if your postcode is eligible for the four NHS vaccines within our clinic. You can then use this to book an appointment online.
We recommend vaccination four weeks or more before your departure date. If this is not possible and you need last minute travel health advice please call us for an emergency appointment or to speak to one of our specialist nurses.
All consultations are by appointment which can be booked online, or by calling 0141 404 0075 between 08.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday. Please see our price list for details of vaccines, costs and other available services.
Your initial appointment will take up to 30 mins. We ask that you download complete the travel health questionnaire and bring this to your appointment. Please give as much information as possible including details of previous vaccinations. Old certificates or booklets would also be very helpful.
Vaccination will given at your first appointment (where not contraindicated).
